About Scared Prepared

Join leading futurist Sam DB for chats with the world's leading thinkers about the things they are scared of, how humanity should be preparing, and what it means for you.

Guests come from academia, business and government: the people working on the weak signals, trends and drivers that are shaping the future of humanity. Along the way we hear their origin story, dig into what they have to teach us, and ask what society should be doing more or less of.

Guests can give a 1 to 10 preparedness rating on the world-infamous prep-o-meter (TM pending), and name that one special item they would take into their doomsday bunker. Short chats run 30 to 45 minutes; longer deep dives run about 75 minutes. Listen as an audio podcast, or watch on YouTube.

New episodes land every Monday at 7:00 am BST (UK), 2:00 am EDT (NY), 11:00 pm PDT (LA, Sunday night), 10:00 am GST (Dubai), 2:00 pm CST (Beijing). In your time zone that is 7:00 am on Monday.
